Highlights
The special challenge for this show: to give the audience the feeling of the magic of the unique continent Africa. The crucial point was of course the music. ISDC mixed traditional African music with modern rhythms and produced not only a thrilling sound but also composed two songs for this sport musical. A large part of the music was played live and many of the songs were also live including the performance of an international musical star. Because ISDC has good international contacts excellent African stars were also engaged for the performance.
The theme: Chloe and Tim go on a journey to the black continent. Rousing drum rhythms and traditional singing accompany them through the desert, jungle and savanna with a flare of colours and forms. Between thrilling fighting rituals and dangerous acrobatics, ancient tribal dances and magnificent ceremonies Chloe and Tim don’t only discover the magic of Africa, they get to know themselves much better.
