On occasion of the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Worldcup 2015 in Winterberg, the opening ceremony took place on the 26th of February at the Event-Palace in Winterberg.Never before in the history of bobsleigh and skeleton such an elaborate show has been staged. The perfect interaction of lights, music, choreography and an interactive screen as background for the whole stage created a spectacular event.Along the lines of „Your world through our eyes“, ISDC realised a fascinating show comprising sports, dance, acrobatics, and musical.The running-in of the participating national teams is a traditional component of opening ceremonies of this kind and thus was presented in a brilliant way.The whole ceremony was framed by stunning showacts such as a hula hoop artist, a musical singer and even multiple world champions in the field of breakdance and german wheel gymnastics.Additionally, individually created video animations created the perfect atmosphere.
It was an entirely successful gala, as the positive feedback of the audience and the press shows: “The opening ceremony of the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Worldcup in Winterberg was award-worthy”, the local press published. ISDC was chief organiser of the whole evening show, overall directing, and the creation of the video animations and choreographies.
